‘Port Wine’ cv. (L. martagon var. album x unnamed seedling) R:&N:    C.L.Shride, 1982. Red-Purple 64A. Lvs whorled. Stems 1.0-1.2m.

There certainly not a lot on the RHS Register, but we have it and it is an amazing delight for those that find small tiny florets of red hanging high on an inflorescence.

I am attracted to this tiny floret that holds 15-20 blooms on one stem. This is one that you will not find too much information on as it’s strictly seen in private collection.

5 feet tall and will grow vigorously once established.
